(“Al Mahhar”), a Qatari public shareholding company listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange, Eversheds Sutherland has advised Al Mahhar Holding Q.P.S.C. (“Al Mahhar”), a Qatari public shareholding company listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange, on the successful completion of the sale of its 49% shareholding in Al Mahhar Al Kuwaitiyya for Light and Heavy Equipment and Machines W.L.L. The transaction was approved by Al Mahhar’s Extraordinary General Assembly held on 17 December 2025, forming part of Al Mahhar’s previously disclosed reorganisation of its Kuwait operations, under which operating activities have been consolidated into Petrotec Kuwait. The Eversheds Sutherland team was led by Qatar-based partner Samer Sarkis, with support from senior associate Sunny Thandi and associate Mohammed Alaboushi. The Qatar-based Eversheds Sutherland team previously advised Al Mahhar on its successful direct listing on the Qatar Stock Exchange. Latest Insights
