Tejas has experience with contentious and advisory phases of diverse high-value matters, notably in the energy, telecommunications, and construction sectors. She has represented States and private parties in proceedings before a variety of international forums, such as before the Iran-US Claims Tribunal, and before arbitral tribunals in proceedings under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, LCIA, SIAC, DIAC, GAFTA, and FOSFA arbitration rules.
In addition to acting as counsel, Tejas has also assisted arbitral tribunals in ICC and LCIA proceedings.
Tejas has authored papers and articles published in a number of legal reviews such as a GAR Publication on Telecommunications Disputes; Oil, Gas & Energy Law (OGEL); Transnational Dispute Management (TDM); Kluwer Arbitration; and the Indian Journal of Arbitration Law.
She has spoken at conferences organised by various forums such as the ICC, Young ICCA, and as a part of Dubai Arbitration Week.
Tejas holds a Master’s degree in International Economic Law from Sciences Po, Paris, and a Bachelor’s in Law (LLB) degree from the University of Pune, India.
She is admitted to practice law in India, and in France (currently on the non-practicing list following relocation to Dubai). Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, she practiced at a boutique arbitration law firm in Paris.

- advised a Middle Eastern conglomerate on contract and risk management issues in connection with the construction of a multi-billion dollar electric power plant in a sanctioned country;
- advised a major African telecommunications company on issues relating to sanctions and potential arbitration proceedings, in connection with its operations in a conflict zone
Assistance to Arbitral Tribunals
- tribunal secretary in an ICC arbitration proceeding relating to the sale of software in the publishing industry;
- assisted the arbitral tribunal in an LCIA arbitration proceeding relating to the performance of a drilling contract;
