UK: Authorities are reforming the money market funds regime while advancing fund tokenisation, including new rules for distributed ledger technology, on-chain recordkeeping and direct-to-fund investment models. Guernsey: Initiatives include the launch of a Fund Foundry programme for emerging managers, development of an innovation sandbox and ongoing discussions on corporate tax reform and long-term sector strategy. Canada: Regulators are advancing a wide-ranging programme of reforms covering trading rules, investor protection, dealer obligations, insider reporting and continuing education requirements.
