Eversheds Sutherland provides employment & labor advice on Wolverine Worldwide’s US$410m acquisition of Sweaty Betty Eversheds Sutherland has advised longstanding US-based client, Wolverine Worldwide, on the employment and labor aspects of its US$410m (£295m) acquisition of upmarket British activewear and lifestyle brand, Sweaty Betty. Wolverine Worldwide is one of the world’s leading marketers and licensors of branded casual, active lifestyle, work, outdoor sport, athletic, children's and uniform footwear and apparel. Founded in 1998, Sweaty Betty has quickly grown to become a global brand designed by women for women. It has cultivated a loyal following through its purpose-driven mission and high quality products, including a wide array of innovative and on-trend tops, bottoms, swimwear, outerwear, and accessories. The Eversheds Sutherland team was led by employment Partner, Tom Bray, assisted by Senior Associates Francesca Smith, and Collette Davies, while Partner Danny Blum led on the employee incentives aspects of the deal.
