FS+ Country Updates – March 2026

• EU: IOSCO is consulting on new good practice principles for OTC commodity derivatives, while ESMA has released official translations of its updated MMF stress testing guidelines.
• Croatia: Wide ranging reforms implement AIFMD II, strengthen UCITS liquidity tools and enhance governance, with continued growth across the investment funds market.
• Guernsey: New long term growth strategy, digital finance consultation, tokenisation initiatives, a Natural Capital Fund designation, and updated governance and anti greenwashing rules.
• Canada: CIRO and OSC have progressed reforms on crypto custody expectations, behavioural research, consolidated rules and governance changes.
• India: Updates include a revised fee framework (IFSCA), a new AIF reporting regime, new mutual fund regulations effective 1 April 2026, eased foreign investment rules for land border countries, and new social media disclosure requirements for regulated entities.
